Needle... Needle... Go Away...

Hello friends.... How are yall... I was planning two other post before this but I saw a movie called "PUNCTURE" a few days back and wanted to do a post on it right away...

The movie was about a drug addict lawyer who take up a case about safety syringe, these syringe are single use and its mechanism protects front-line healthcare workers from needlestick accidents.

Needle sticks accidents are caused when a healthcare worker are accidentally struck by the syringe needle when using it on a patient. About 800000 people were AFFECTED due to this accident in U.S alone and about 3.5 MILLION worldwide says the 1999 report.....( I know it's an outdated report but the number are still the same..!!!)

And also there are reports that say that syringes are being reused after throwing away in some of the THIRD WORLD countries, these are the main reasons for the cause of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and even HIV and MORE...!!!

I know that this is an OLD movie and things might have changed and new laws might have been implemented, but trust me I checked and there are some countries who are using these but they are like 1 in a MILLION.

This is a bigger issue and I, being an individual normal person who works as intern and has a regular life can't do anything about it.... But it does not mean I can BLOG about it.... u know, just letting everyone know so that they can ASK for safety needle when they go to a hospital next time.

MONEY is the new GOD, seems like it's true.... 
I don't fully believe it though, I still HOPE that one day everything will CHANGE and there won't be any BORDERS and COLORS.... Hope I live to see that day.....
